note: Natural Color will vary per hide.
DESCRIPTION: South American hides are tanned with chrome and vegetable tanning agents. The dyeing process is carried out in drums by means of aniline colorants, which ensure a very high degree of light-fastness. A “bubble” grain is developed naturally by a long period in the dry milling drum, where with a careful control of humidity and temperature plus the use of special chemicals in retanning, the grain develops a very fine grain with a bubble design. Besides the special “feel” and a high degree of water-resistance, the final treatment confers a typical sheen.
